AIHCE Conference 2015 :

Greg Small and Bill Parsons will be putting off a training course at the AIHCE Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah - May 30th to June 4th, 2015.  It is entitled Introduction to Managed Fall Protection Programs.

This course explores the critical fall protection leadership practices and sound technical principles, that form programming that creates effective working at height safety.

Course topics will build on the provisions of ANSI Z359.2 Minimum Requirements for a Managed Fall Protection Program’s key elements including, but not limited to, corporate policy, hazard prioritization and abatement, incident investigation, and procurement. The required knowledge base of workers, supervisors, management and technical professionals for successful fall protection will be tied to various levels of training that are traditionally seen in the standard.

Participants will gain an understanding of OSHA compliance as well as the current state of fall protection standards (ANSI, CSA, EN) including their strengths and weaknesses, and how they relate to industry best practice. Future directions in fall protections standards and practice will be discussed.

This course is important to any organization that is considering implementation of a full managed fall protection program.
